Diana and Jas tied the knot in September 2018 and had a gorgeous boho wedding. Enchanting elements from around the world symbolized the coming together of the two families and their love for travel.
Tell us a little about you – what you both do, how did you meet?
Jas and I were housemates off campus. Jas was finishing his last year of his MBA and I was finishing my last year of university. Once we moved in together our folks were always asking how is it like living together? Our answer was: we don't know any other way! We both work in the technology sector.
Who proposed?
Jas proposed at the Toronto airport right before I was about to leave for vacation with my family in Portugal!
Describe your day and how it came together?
After one year of intense planning, it turned out to be a perfect wedding.
The wedding favors were traditional items that were brought from Romania and India that were wrapped together representing the union of our two cultures. The embroidery blouse came from Romania while the elephants came from India. It was representing us and it was our way of spreading love, magic, luck, and good fortune to all of our guests.
What was your favorite moment or most memorable detail?
Getting ready with the bridesmaids and family (jumping up and down the trampoline, and then swinging in the beautiful garden).
